As a romantic, this love story overwhelmed me.

Only once before in my three-quarter century life has a story captivated my emotions so enchantingly that my DVD of the movie drew me like a magnet to replay it over and over. Twelve times in eight days Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves portrayed these lovers to me as naturally and intently as if living the actual story of The Lake House.
Though a complicated fantasy, it must appeal to those who have been or must be separated from their one and only true love for long periods of time. It caused the love for my husband to swell inside me as though to the point of bursting.
The accompanying music was absolutely perfect for each scene and set the emotional atmosphere for that occasion, with silence at appropriate times. My pen has never written a review, but this movie compelled it to respond.

BLU-RAY VERSION IS WORTH BUYING. I DON'T NEED TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE MOVIE, OTHERS ALREADY HAVE. BUT, NOT TOO MANY PEOPLE TELL YOU IF IT IS WORTH UPGRADING FROM YOUR REGULAR DVD TO BLU-RAY. THIS ONE IS WORTH IT. COLORS ARE STUNNING AND SOUNDS GREAT.

I really enjoyed this movie, for reasons that it surely delivered me a sense of love and romanticism, where especially nowadays many people are seeking, or lack of. This movie will leave you with a deep impression.
